Book description
Nimue and her cousin Cara arrive on horseback at the magical school of Torsámum, where they are to be trained as Warriors of Light. There, Headmaster Schnabel introduces an entirely new concept: a diverse student community of wizard's apprentices and elemental beings. Nimue is thrilled and completely focused on her studies – quite the opposite of Cara. To make matters worse, they have to share their room with Lui, an eccentric goblin who quickly gets on Cara's nerves. Just when Cara is ready to return home, a mysterious wizard's apprentice catches her eye.
Meanwhile, Nimue gets to know her attractive classmate Wilkins, who turns out to be a true ally in the struggle against the forces of darkness. But Torsámum is far from a safe haven for Nimue. And then she is confronted with her first love, too. The pressure is mounting on all fronts.
Will she overcome the challenges that lie ahead, or will she have to leave Torsámum before the school year is over?
